Technical Administrator – Industrial Doors
📍 Location: West Midlands (or commutable distance to South Birmingham)
💰 Salary: £34,000 + Excellent Benefits
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a national service and maintenance provider within their Industrial Door Division, supporting operations across the UK.
As a Technical Administrator, you’ll be part of a team responsible for coordinating engineers, managing service reports, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, planners, and field teams. This is a key support role for a busy technical department handling automatic doors, shutters, and gates nationwide.
The Role
- Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance jobs for engineers across your region.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and the engineering team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently.
- Process service reports, quotations, and purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate records on the CRM system.
- Support compliance and KPI reporting.
- Provide administrative and technical support to the Service Team Manager.
What You’ll Need
- Experience within industrial doors, facilities maintenance, or a technical service environment.
- Strong administrative and coordination skills.
- Confident communicator able to manage multiple priorities.
- Great attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable using CRM and MS Office systems.
- A proactive, dependable team player with a customer-first approach.
