Fire Door Engineer
London
£18 - £20 Per Hour + Full Benefits Package
Overview
Our client is an established building services contractor expanding into fire door installation and compliance. This is a key hire within a newly formed division, offering the opportunity to step into a specialist role with a clear pathway into leadership.
You will initially operate as a hands-on engineer, with the long-term opportunity to build and lead a team as demand continues to grow.
The Role
- Installation and remedial works on fire-rated timber doorsets
- Ensuring all work complies with fire safety regulations
- Working in line with TRADA / FIRAS standards
- Supporting the move from subcontracted work to in-house delivery
- Helping establish processes and quality standards for the division
Package
- Competitive salary aligned with experienced engineers
- No call-out rota
- Door-to-door pay
- Standard hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm (30 min unpaid break)
Overtime:
- After 9 hours – 1.5x
- After midnight – 2x
- Saturdays – 1.5x
- Sundays & Bank Holidays – 2x
