Introduction

An award-winning, market leader in the automatic door industry is currently seeking an industry experienced Field Operations Manager to join their key management team, covering the southern half of the country, Peterborough down to the South Coast.

The package includes a basic salary of up to £55,000, £8,400 per annum car allowance, bonus scheme worth up to £4500 per year, 33 days holiday, and more. The role offers an ongoing development plan, with exciting prospects for personal growth and development.

Role Overview:

As an integral part of the team, you will support a group of 22 Engineers serving the Southern region of the UK. This role necessitates frequent face-to-face meetings with Engineers across a broad geographic area, requiring comfort with extensive travel and occasional overnight stays. While primarily working from home, you will maintain a flexible schedule, spending one day every two weeks in the office.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the development of the Engineering team, handling recruitment, performance evaluations, and disciplinary procedures. Your expertise in the automatic door industry is crucial for providing guidance to Engineers, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards like BS EN 16005, and conducting site audits and PPM training.

You will benefit from the support of an experienced management team, with several key personnel boasting over ten years of tenure with the company.

  • Managing and supporting a team of 22 Engineers
  • Providing technical support
  • Dealing with customer escalations
  • Conducting site audits
  • Handling recruitment, appraisals, and disciplinaries
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards such as BS EN 16005
  • Training Engineers on planned preventative maintenance procedures
  • Safeguarding the safety and wellbeing of Engineers
  • Monitoring Engineer performance against KPIs

The package includes:

  • Basic salary: £52,000 - £55,000, based on experience
  • Car allowance: £8,400 annually
