Sales Manager – Industrial Doors & Docking Equipment
📍 Location: North of England (Remote with travel as required)
💰 Package: £55,000 basic + 15% bonus + £5,100 car allowance
We’re representing a leading supplier in the industrial door and docking industry, known for delivering high-quality spare parts and exceptional customer support across the UK. As part of their continued growth, they’re looking for a driven Sales Manager to take ownership of the North of England, build strong relationships, and help launch an exciting new product range.
The Role
This is a key position for a commercially focused sales professional who thrives in both business development and account management. You’ll play a pivotal role in growing market share across the North — leading new customer acquisition while nurturing long-term relationships with existing clients across installation, service, and maintenance businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across the North of England within the door and docking trade.
- Develop and execute a regional sales plan aligned with company growth objectives.
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
- Promote and sell a new range of innovative products to both new and established customers.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
- Provide accurate forecasting and performance reporting to senior management.
- Collaborate with internal operations, customer service, and technical teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.
What You’ll Need
- Proven success in sales within industrial doors, docking systems, or building products.
- Strong background in both new business development and account management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness with a customer-first mindset.
- Self-motivated and highly organised, with the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the North of England.
Desirable:
- Technical understanding of door or docking equipment.
- Existing industry network within the UK trade.
- Experience introducing new products to market.
