Automatic Door Engineer (Site Based)

Basic salary £38,000 - £40,000 (Door to Door Pay)
Overtime paid at 1.5 available
A small but well known automatic door maintenance specialist is currently looking to expand its engineering department and is therefore targeting an additional Engineer to cover a site based role in West London. The role doesn’t include an out of hours call out rota or weekend work, there is also the potential for the individual to choose their own start times therefore, this role would suit an Engineer who is searching for a position which offers flexibility and without out of hours commitments.
As an Automatic Door Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Installing automatic swing and sliding door systems, manufactured by companies such as Assa Abloy, and Record UK.
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of automatic doors manufactured by companies such as Assa Abloy, Record, Geze, Dorma, Stanley, Tormax, Horton, Label, and more.
- Servicing and maintaining manual doors.
- Fault finding on electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment.
- Basic electrical wiring.
- Adhering to BS EN 16005 standards.
The successful automatic door Engineer will have:
- Experience working for an EN 16005 recognised automatic door company.
- Experience servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of automatic door systems.
- A valid EN 16005 certificate, or at least have held one in the past.
- A clean driving license.
- A CSCS Card.
In return, you will receive an excellent remuneration package which includes:
- Basic salary £38,000 - £41,000
- 10% bonus paid annually
- No call out rota
- No weekend work
- Premium overtime rates (1.5 X) for hours worked outside of standard hours
- Company van with personal use permitted
- Flexible hours, an 8 hour working day is required, but the individual can choose a start time of 6am, 6.30am, 7am, or 7.30am.
